• Five villages have been identified and base line survey has been conducted under Mera Goan Mera Gaurav scheme.
  • Need based training was imparted to the students and staff members of Plant Pathology/ Microbiology/ Virology on molecular techniques for diagnosis of virus and virus like diseases.
  • Virus free planting materials of papaya are distributed to farmers through Kisan Mela at IARI, New Delhi and at IARI Regional Station Pune.
  • Farmers are advised for management of virus and virus like diseases of fruits and vegetable crops.
  • Organized demonstration on management of PRSV in papaya.
  • Organized Kisan Mela for transfer of technology.
