v GC-ECD, GC-FID: Gas chromatography GC is a separation technique widely used for identification and quantification of volatile organic compounds including pesticide residues.

LC-MS-MS, HPLC: Liquid chromatography (LC) is separation technique used for identification and quantification of polar organic compounds including pesticide residues.

Regional Honey and other Beehive Product Testing Laboratory

·         In order to meet the regulatory requirements of rigorous testing and certification of honey and allied products, on 20^th May 2021 to mark the “World Bee Day”, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Honorable Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, launched, in virtual mode, National Bee Board funded project for “Setting up of the regional State-of-the-art NABL Accredited Honey and other Beehive Product Testing Laboratory” at Division of Agricultural Chemicals, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi in the august presence of Shri Parshottam Bhai Rupala and Shri Kailash Choudhary, Hon’ble Ministers of State for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Dr Trilochan Mahapatra, Secretary (DARE) and DG (ICAR).
